The breed standard for the American Staffordshire Terrier (adapted for petz)

Eyes

Dark coat colors should have dark grey or dark brown eyes. Reds should have brown eyes, while greys should have grey eyes. Except for black, the eye color cannot be lighter than the predominant coat color.

Coat Colors

Any color, solid, parti, or patched is allowed. All white or 80% white heavily faulted. Black and tan, and liver are not to be encouraged. An all black may have tan points on the muzzle, feet, OR eyebrows, but not on two or more of these places.

Head

Tail

The tail should be rather short and curve slightly. Never docked.

Neck, Shoulders, and Back

Neck: Should be heavy and slightly arched tapering from the shoulders to the back of the skull.
Shoulders: Should be strong and muscular.
Back: Fairly short with a slight sloping from the shoulders to the rump.
Body: Chest deep and broad
